Hours of Operation

09:00～16:00
Final admission is a half hour before the closing time. It takes around one hour to see all of the areas.

Closed days

March to November : Open everyday
December to February : Sundays, National Holidays and
　　　　　　　　　　　　Year-end / New Year holidays (Dec. 26 to Jan. 5) are closed.

Admission fee

Adults	100yen
Children and high school students and younger	Free

Facility for disabled persons

• An elevator
• A restroom for wheelchair user and diaper changing table.
• An entrance ramp for wheelchair user
• 2 wheelchairs and 1 stroller

Free of charge. The information is available at the information desk at the entrance.

• ---- Take "daigaku-byouin mae" of the ChuoKotsu Bus at Bus stop No.12 of the West Exit Bus
      Pool in Akita Station.Get off at the stop "Kougyou-Hakubutsukan Iriguchi"
     (approximately 10 minutes from JR Akita Station.)Just 5 minutes on foot to the museum
     from there.

Parking area

In front of the museum, there are parking spaces for about 20 cars. Large buses can also park here.
